Mission
- To organize and develop an effective, efficient, accountable, and sustainable Subspecialty Education Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, particularly in minimally invasive medicine related to medical tourism.
- To conduct translational and innovative research in the development of subspecialty knowledge in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- To implement continuous community service aligned with the discipline and subspecialty interests of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Subspecialty Program of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, upholds minimally invasive medicine as its core excellence.
Objectives
- To produce professional and independent subspecialist doctors in Obstetrics and Gynecology who uphold ethical values and possess advanced clinical competencies in their respective subspecialties.
- To advance medical science and technology through translational, innovative, and cutting-edge research that contributes to reproductive health services.
- To carry out continuous community service initiatives in response to maternal and child health needs at the national and regional levels.
- To establish transparent, accountable, and internationally standardized subspecialty education management, and to build national and international academic and clinical collaboration networks to enhance the quality of the tridharma (education, research, and community service) and global competitiveness.
Goals
- To produce graduates with advanced clinical competence, independence, and cultural awareness. Graduates are expected to compete at national, regional, and global levels, with improved on-time graduation rates according to standards.
- To increase the number of subspecialty research publications in reputable national and international journals, foster community-oriented and technology-driven research, and expand intellectual property outcomes such as copyrights and patents.
- To implement regular community service programs aligned with each subspecialty focus area and to strengthen partnerships with government and communities to improve maternal and child health.
- To establish an effective and efficient education management system based on information technology, supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure that meet subspecialty standards, and to ensure quality through continuous internal evaluation systems.
- To enhance national and international collaborations in education, research, and clinical services, including exchange programs for lecturers, residents, and cross-country collaborative research.
